  1. Show prices

    If a (b2b) customer is logged in to the shop, he/she should be able to choose, which prices are shown.

    Dealers often have their customers standing beside the desk with the eyes right on the computer. The dealers do not want the customer to see the net prices or discount on the gross prices.

    There could be the following options:
    - Show gross price with discount
    - Show net price
    - Show gross price

    [SANA PRODUCT] Thanks for these comments! In Sana 9.3.0, it’s possible to configure how prices are shown. This applies to the entire web store, and not on customer level. If we understand you correctly, you are looking for a configuration so that the shop account owner itself can change this setting as well, right?

  2. 1 image for different items in NAV - possible or not ?

    Is it yet possible to use 1 image for multiple items of the same type but different dimensions ? Now we need to use 1 image per item (although they look the same) which blows our database out of proportions.

    [SANA PRODUCT] Thanks David, this is an interesting request. Typically most our customers require a different image per item. However, there could be more customers with a similar scenario, I will leave this feature on the feedback channel and monitor the number of votes. Should it be prioritized in the future I will reach out to you and the voter to validate the direction. Thanks for your feedback!

  3. Integrate Item Cross Reference numbers with Sana

    Our industrial customers are buying everything from us through their own procurement systems. They have their own Item Numbers for all Items. We have linked the customers Item Numbers with ours Item Numers using Item Cross Reference Entries in NAV. It would be great if this numbers got synced with Sana so our customers can search for they own item numbers and find the items they are looking for. Item Cross Reference numbers should also be visible in the Customer Assortment lists, and customer should be able to tag Item with their own numbers for example in the Check Out…

  4. more options for "Availability depends on stock" function

    More options are needed for "Availability depends on stock" function. The option should be added to product sets, product lists and maybe idividual items.
    My Reasoning: I have a bunch of items lying around in my warehouse that I want to get rid of, therefore I would like to list them on the web store.
    The problem is that I also want to dropship a bunch of items that I don’t have in my warehouse.
    Current functionality will have me choose either or of the above. We need more flexibility

  5. Add possibility to support URL's as product attachments

    When using the inRiver add-on, it should be possible to add an URL as a product attachment, if the customer eg. wants to link to files stored on the website of the supplier.

    With the current version of the inRiver connector it is not possible to use an URL as a product attachment, in the same way as is currently possible when using Microsoft Dynamics AX for instance.

  6. Language support for attachments

    Currently the inRiver connector does not support languages for product attachments (mapped to the SANA_PRODUCTATTACHMENTS_RELATIONS setting in inRiver).

    It should work in the same way as with the standard ERP integration or Perfion add-on, that only the attachments are presented in the language the customer has chosen in the webstore.

    [SANA PRODUCT] We looked into this issue, and it seems that we don’t support language specific attachments for our ERPs for product attachments (only for sales document attachments). We indeed support language specific attachments in our PIM systems. The development team will look into this scenario.

  7. Validate ZIP code and country

    The ZIP codes from a city should be validated by the ERP. The transport cost often depends on country but currently, SANA allows any ZIP code and country combination. So I have had B2C scenario's where customers selected the wrong country and payed less transport costs due to this.

    1) Option to set the field zip code in SANA admin as drop down instead of text for customer registration & profile fields.

    2) If this set like this in SANA, customers can only select ZIP codes based on the ZIP code table of the ERP. In this case the list…

    [SANA PRODUCT] We have this feedback on our radar. The challenge here is that we sell Sana globally, and each country has it’s own taxonomy / rules for zip codes and cities. There are multiple third-party companies that are specialized in validating this information. Some of our customers customize Sana and implement this validation there. To what extent can ZIP code validation be done on the ERP side in your experience?

    Metatags are not auto populated through a field in SAP B1, as manually filling metatags for every product is very time consuming. There should be an option to upload metatags through CSV based on product code. We have also talked to few of other SANA users and they also have same issues.

    [SANA PRODUCT] The meta description fields are auto populated based on the Product Description. It’s also possible to override this auto populating when manually adding a Meta Description under the Advanced Tab while editing a product in Sana Admin. If that’s not working for you properly, please contact your Service Consultant.

    Which fields from SAP B1 would you like to populate as the Meta Description?

  9. Auto create prospect with completed form - new customer

    I would like to add a customer registration form in SANA. Completely filled in forms will automatically create a new prospect in D365 with all required data. The sales manager can convert it easlily to customer. Less work and more efficient.

  10. Add your refrence no. as a search option in order history

    I would be nice if the field "your refrence no." is an extra search option in order history. The refrence no. can be filled making an order in the shop.

    [SANA PRODUCT] We are planning to redesign the My Account pages entirely including it’s search functionality there. We acknowledge that the search options could be improved here. We don’t have an ETA yet for these updates, but please follow roadmap.sana-commerce.com for the latest updates.

  11. Extend Sana Admin search functionality to include Sana Help (and Sana University) articles

    Extend Sana Admin search functionality to include articles from Sana Help and Sana University in search suggestions regarding current Sana setup.

    For example when customer search for "Discount" top suggestions should be link(s) for "Discount" in Sana Admin and at the bottom should be suggestions with link(s) to Sana Help or Sana University with respect of current Sana setup.
    So, if customer has configured NAV ERP connection, customer do not need link(s) to Help Sana with AX, GP, SAP articles, but only NAV.

    This will dramatically improve Sana Admin user experience.

    [SANA PRODUCT] This is a very good idea. We are currently investigating an improved version of our Sana Help (we call this project Community 2.0). As part of this project, the entire Sana Help functionality will be improved. Step 2 will be a smart integration with our Sana Admin panel to improve our customer experience for daily operations.   13. Automatically disable internal (on account) payment method when credit limits are validated with online payment

    Besides the online payment methods, it is also possible to create a payment method linked to the internal (on account) 'payment provider', to enable the customer to pay the order on account.

    When credit limits are validated and enabled with online payment in Sana admin, you only expect the customer to be able to choose the 'real' online payment methods when he/she exceeds the credit limit, as you want him/her to pay online. In the current solution he/she can still select the internal (on account) payment method.

    The internal (on account) payment method should be automatically hidden in this scenario.

  14. File Manager

    Don't know whether it is already in the new upgrade, but an Image Preview and a Search Bar in File Manager would shorten the amount of searchtime. Especially when you have to find a productphoto, because the naming for the prodcutpictures is not SEO friendly..

    [SANA PRODUCT] We are currently working on improving our Sana Admin CMS editor. We call this project the “Visual Designer” where it will be much easier to create content. In addition, we will also review the rest of our Sana Admin with our UX experts. The file manager is definitely one of the candidates that needs improvement. Thank you for the feedback!

  15. Customers needing to order for multiple (bill-to) locations.

    Many of our customers own multiple businesses, restaurants, or chain accounts. They should be able to log in with one email and select the customer number (Customer ID) that they want to order for. Many time sthese are all separate bill-to's. Right now we can have one email associated to one customer account (or ship-to group). We have chef's at commissaries ordering for six locations (different customer id's) and i have to have them setup six gmail accounts to access.

    [SANA PRODUCT] We are currently rebuilding our front-end and Sana Admin based on ReactJS. This will bring huge performance improvements. Simultaneously, we also have our UX experts reviewing all pages in Sana (both front-end as Sana Admin). The My Account area also deserves improvement, especially the search functionality. We will definitely take this feedback into account when we will redesign this part of Sana. Please stay tuned with our Roadmap Portal (https://roadmap.sana-commerce.com/).

    For the maintenance of the customer assortment in NAV, it would be great if you can add an item mark in the assortment. Because the item category and product group are not specific enough and the item no. is to specific, it cost al lot of time if you maintain this on the item no. level. If you use an item mark the maintenance is more flexible.
    It would also be better if the assortment at the customer level can be setup based on the countries/ regions code.

  18. Unique discount codes

    Possibility to provide guests/B2C customers a unique discount code to buy a specific product(s) with a certain discount/price. This code should only be used one time and then expires.

    Redeem codes as it is implemented in Sana Saas do not answer to this desire and is no watertight solution to offer a discount to a specific group selected persons.

  19. Draft page content when session expires

    In Sana 9.3 you introduced login session expiration, so if a Sana Admin is inactive for 20 minutes or more the session will be signed out. One big issue with this is that if you spend 20 minutes or more editing a web page and then save your content you are automatically signed out and the content is lost. This can not be intended and I will category it as a bug, so that you will not be signed out in this scenario.

    Also, sometimes you are editing pages, then for some reason you will be inactive for 20 minutes…

In this case Sana will only shown 46 on the product detail page and not 46 cm
