  1. Admin notification when new version of add-on is available

    It would be great if an admin could be notified when a new update is available for add-ons that are enabled in the webstore. These version updates contain bug fixes and enhancements, but the add-on page is typically not monitored frequently by webstore admins.

    For this the Admin notification email address field in the Basics tab (Setup) could be used, which is already in place since Sana 9.3.

  2. Using (meta) Descriptions instead of Specifications in Product List view

    When using many specifications like we have, the Product pages List view is cluttered with specs like '4 MPa| No| No| No| Yes | Yes| No| No| No | 3822534267195| ' etc. See attached screenshot. This does not give any information about the products and looks messy. It would be better if replaced by a part of the description or meta description.

  3. Export from Sana Admin

    There is currently no functinality in Sana Admin to export any customer data. If you can import data/content you should also be able to export it.

    This should be a standard function of Sana Admin.
    Exporting data is a key tool to provide actionable data to sales teams to provide an enhanced service to the customer and also help us identify those who have not logged in and need to be contacted via sales team or an email campaign. This is impossible without the option to export.
    Please consider this Sana, you will make your customers lives so much easier…

  4. Use paragraphs in HTML editor

    Normal behavior of most WYSIG editors, also Froala, is this:


    • Enter = New paragraph

    • Shift + Enter = Line Break

    But in Sana Commerce Cloud both gives a Line Break, making content creation much harder. Is it possible to change the behavior of the HTML editor behave like "standard" where ENTER gives new Paragraph?

  5. Ending Description 'preview' text with '...' instead of mid-sentence/mid-word

    In Product Detail pages, the first part of the description at the upper right part of the page is always a fixed number of characters and often ends halfway of a word. HTLM tags like BR and P are ignored, and so are headings, so the text is poorly readable as everything is lumped together as one text).

    It would be good to at least end this text with '...', or with 'read more' (which is now placed below the text), or even being manually editable as option.

  6. List all items without images

    It would be very helpful to have a simple query function that lists all web-visible items without any images associated with them. As new products are created in the ERP, users may forget to add the associated images. Sifting through the site's products and categories time consuming, and depending on the category structure, may not be realistic. This information is already accessible by the dev teams, might as well make it available to the users.

  7. Shortening the URL of visible Categories in Product list pages

    When using product Categories as filter in Product list pages, the whole URL (including parent categories) is visible instead of just the categories themselves. When having nested categories, this means the URL is too long to actually show the category at the end (see screenshot).

  8. There is no option to mass import Descriptions.

    Where product descriptions exist, there is no option to import a (for example) CSV file with the descriptions. When such descriptions are created Extended Text from Dynamics Nav will not be available in Sana.

  9. Can an option be added through admin to allow selection of a default shipping method.

    The default selection of cheapest is often not the most suitable. Customers see a box checked and continue, adding to post-order telephone calls and customer service time.
    Having an option to set the default would be more suitable

  10. Webshop categories (front-end) alphabetical in every language

    Webshop categories (front-end) alphabetical in every language. (one store with different languages)

    In de backend you can move your categories form exmple to an alphabetical order (primary language is ENG). On the front-end everething looks perfect when the webshop languge is set on ENG. When you change the webshop language in for example NLD or DE of FR de Alphabetical order for the categories dos not exist anymore.

    Is there an option possible (alphabetical on/off) of you can make this where you can sett this function active or not.

  11. Change log for changes made in Sana Admin

    Extend Sana Admin so that any changes made by admin staff are logged in a change log table. A number of times customers have asked if it's possible to see what has changed, and this would also help with troubleshooting any issues that may have arisen due to config changes etc. Also, if changes are made on UAT prior to going Live, the customer to refer back to what has been changed in order to implement the same change on the Live system. Would have thought it should be fairly straight forward to implement.

    Our sales representatives have a lot of oral agreements with sertain customers. A lot of those involve free products when you buy a sertain amount of a specific product. That is why I like to see a feature in the 'discount codes' section where I can make a 5+1 free offer or a 10+1 on sertain products.

  13. Allow Adding of Meta Images in Standard Sana

    In addition to being able to add meta titles and meta descriptions for each page in Sana Admin it would be very useful and beneficial to be able to add meta images.

    Without being able to add meta images no picture comes up if you share a page on Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, etc. Being able to share links with meta images is extremely important for marketing.

    When I inquired about adding meta images I was told that to that it would be a "customization" which doesn't really make any sense, in the current state of the internet meta images are…

    If a (b2b) customer is logged in to the shop, he/she should be able to choose, which prices are shown.

    Dealers often have their customers standing beside the desk with the eyes right on the computer. The dealers do not want the customer to see the net prices or discount on the gross prices.

    There could be the following options:
    - Show gross price with discount
    - Show net price
    - Show gross price

    [SANA PRODUCT] Thanks for these comments! In Sana 9.3.0, it’s possible to configure how prices are shown. This applies to the entire web store, and not on customer level. If we understand you correctly, you are looking for a configuration so that the shop account owner itself can change this setting as well, right?

    All system page URL's in Sana should be editable. The contact-us and basket URL for example are not editable.

    [SANA PRODUCT] Thank you for your feedback. We don’t hear this feedback often actually, so I don’t expect it will be improved in the short term. But it’s good that we have it on our radar now at least. Thank you for sharing your idea!

  16. Copying webstores in SAAS

    We have a customer that have 3 beta webstores and 3 live webstores. They want to have one-to-one settings in their test before it goes to live. Every time they do a change they must do exactly the same settings in live or other webstores (they are on Sana SAAS). It would be nice to have an option (as a user or via Sana) to copy such webstores.

    [SANA PRODUCT] We are aware that the data portability for data in Sana leaves room for improvement. This contains not only data in Sana Admin – such as shop accounts – but also settings and configuration. We are aware of that and prioritize the different data sources based on our customer feedback. We have data portability on our radar, and will work on further improve this in the future.

  17. Allow all Sana Texts to respond to html/css styling

    Frequently we would like to change the size or styling of a system text string, or include a link, etc. Many of these texts do not respond to styling even when input in the editor's code view.

  18. Provide a Microsoft Flow connector into the webshop admin - particularly account admin

    Implement a Microsoft Flow connector for Sana Admin. This could be used for several things but my idea is to use it principally for account managment. Flows can now be triggered directly from inside D365 business apps such as Business Central. Thus when a new Customer account is being set up in Business Central and all is correctly configured, a flow is triggered and the account is set up in Sana Admin without the user having to leave Business Central. Sana now has the ability to automatically send out the "Welcome to the webshop" message and this would be triggered…

    [SANA PRODUCT] Thank you for the idea Nicholas. Could you please add some more concrete ideas of flows that you would like to build?

    If a new customer is created in the ERP, a flow could be triggered based on that event, right? I am curious to what extent this is not sufficient and what you exactly miss.

  20. Download button in logs other than view button

    It will be easy if we have an option to download the log directly without having to view the log from Sana admin. Sometimes as partners or 3rd parties need to access logs, a direct download button would be really helpful.
