  1. Extend functionality ZIP code

You can configure in NAV when a customer filled in a incorrect ZIP code during online customer registration, that a error will be shown on the webshop

It would be nice when a customer fills in his ZIP code and housnumber, that automatically the street and place will be filled in.

  2. GLS integration

GLS is a very popular shipping provider in the Nordic contries and they offer very affordable delivery in all of Europe.

GLS is espeacially popular for B2C costumers as they are cheap and can deliver to parcelshops.

An integration with GLS and their parcelshop system would be a big step towards a more B2C friendly platform.

[SANA PRODUCT] Thanks for this feedback. At this moment, we are developing standard integrations with both Consignor and Transsmart. These shipping providers supports both standard delivery and pick-up locations – also GLS. This gives our customers the flexibility in changing and adding shipping providers in Sana, without touching any APIs. And with offering more delivery options, shop visitors will have the freedom to select the fastest, cheapest or their preferred carrier.

  3. Ship-to Address

Limit the selection of ship-to address from address book and limit the ability to enter a different address per shop account.

  4. Export Shop Account data

A facility to export shop account data to CSV. This could be useful in a DR scenario where ERP data has been restored to ensure ERP/Shop accounts match.

  5. basket upsell for related products

when going through the basket/checkout pages, suggest products related to the basket contents. E.g. a carousel of related items (of type X - e.g. upsell items) for products in the basket

  6. Select currency in the basket

If a customer has shipping addresses in diffrent countries it would be nice if they can select in which currency they want to pay.

  7. Downloadable partial catalogue for enduser

I get the request very frequently to be able to download the entire catalogue or parts of it.
Many distributors and manufacturers want customer to be able to use their images, product descriptions and manuals etc in their own eCommerce shop or internal file reposotory and therefore are requesting that the customer can select a part of the catalogue and download all product information with a single click. Alternatively I also had the request to download all images for the SKU's purchased in a single order.
I am curious to find out of other people would find this useful or…

  8. Product ID links to detail page in Package Contents

If a SKU is made up of components (Sales BOM in SAP B1, for example) we get a "View package contents" link on the product page. Clicking it gives the "Package Contents" overlay. It would be great if the product ID (and/or name or whole row) could be a link the the product detail page of the component

  9. Change the order of products in the shopping cart

When a customer adds products to his basket, the order in which the products are shown in the basket are not making sence. The product that is choosen last, is showed at the top op the basket and the item first selected is on the bottom.

It's more logical that you will get an overwiew of what you selected from 1 to ... So the item you selected first, will be on the first position in te basket. Our B2B customers complained about this functionality and so we made some customization.

When we compare this to all kind of diferend…

  10. Breadcrumb for flexi-pages

SANA does provide breadcrumb for catalog pages, however, even if you do structure your flexi-pages URL with category/subcategory/page, there is no option to add a breadcrumb to the created flexi-pages which prevents a proper content discovery by the user (and doing this by hand is long and subject to mistakes, not to mention the update needed if you're moving/adding new section as time goes on).

  11. Possibility to update Item Categories when product categories have been updated in ERP/PIM

Make it possible to update item categories (and consequently navigation items, product sets and product list page) in Sana when updates in the naming of assignment of products to a category have taken place in ERP or in PIM (eg. Perfion).

Also see ticket [#SRX10386] Update Sana item categories from Perfion does not work

  12. building webshop navigation tree from path field in erp system.

As far as I understand the design, it appears that you have to create a topic filter which includes then the ERP fields and settings that act as a filter for that topic in the webshop. If we add an ERP field that contains the path (like /vendor/category/subcat/size) for each item, then sana can build an dependency tree in the database from all these paths and show the possible values of each level of the webshop (i.e show all vendors, then shop all category values of a specific vendor etc etc) Using this method the webshop tree is controlled by…

  13. Turn the shop in Maintenance mode

It would be nice if you can make a setting to turn the shop in maintaince mode, so at the shop site you only see one page that the shop is underconstuction.

  14. collect payment for overdue balance

working in a similar way to the 9.3 credit limit validation, it would be good to have the option to warn/force payments from customers with an overdue balance. e.g. they may be within their credit limit (or not), but have unpaid invoices that have passed their due date, for which payment could be collected through sana in the context of placing a new order.

  15. Override the product name on the store

Aside from language translations, it would be good if we could override the item name. We can kind of do it on product detail pages with the Title field but List/Search pages still use the Item Name from ERP. This might include info or codes that help our internal processing but look ugly on a customer facing site. If running multiple sites from one ERP, it could allow a "trade-speak" name on B2B-focussed sites and a more friendly name on B2C sites.

  16. Use the SMTP Sender option on form mails

All of the form mails come from the common address of the store. If you hit Reply, you are sending the response back to the store, not the customer! The Sender option would send replies to the customer and allow software like "CRM for Outlook" for SAP B1 to match the customer email address to a Business Partner automatically. No more guessing which BP has sent the email!

  18. Register and login with Google, Facebook, PayPal etc.

This would lower the threshold for new users to create an account and make it easier for existing users to sign in thus speeding up the checkout.

  19. Use a front-end framework

Using a third-party modular front-end framework (e.g. http://foundation.zurb.com/) would provide design pack developers with a well documented and easily expandable system. The current system's functionality is restricted to the default design pack's use case. It's not modular; overwriting store.css in a custom design pack basically overwrites all styles; it's not possible to overwrite just a single component. It's badly structured; styles are spread over store.css and z-mobile.css. It's confusing; z-mobile.css contains styles for mobile but also desktop and tablet (this was fixed in Sana v9.2.0 though). Using a third-party framework would fix all this. These are generally well documented,…

[SANA PRODUCT] We are currently implementing ReactJS as our front-end framework. We expect to have a full re-implementation of our front-end by the end of 2019. We are spending a significant portion of our development capacity to this project.

It’s a big and ambitious project, but we are confident that it will add a lot of value in terms of stability and performance. I recommend you following our Roadmap Portal (roadmap.sana-commerce.com) for the latest updates.

  20. Register after checkout

Sana v9.2.0 adds the possibility to check out as a guest. It would be nice if the guest checkout would offer the possibility to register for an account after the order has been submitted. The user should then only be required to supply the information that wasn't already supplied to place the order (e.g. a password). This could also simplify the checkout by reducing the number of options when the user isn't signed in at the time of checkout: sign in to an existing account or continue as guest with the option to register.
