  1. Show Stock From Multiple Warehouses and also allow ordering from different warehouses

    In standard Sana, there are only two configurations possible for how stock can be retrieved.
    1. One single warehouse for the whole shop
    2. Stock retrieved from the default location recorded against the customer record in ERP

    However, it would be nicer if we had the below features.

    1. Allow the web shop owner to choose whether he wants to display stocks for the same product in different warehouses.
    2. Allow the ERP admin to choose which warehouses he wants to use for the web shop (visible in web shop type of functionality).

  2. Integration 360° product pictures

    Please integrate the option to add 360 degree views of product to the webshop. Alternatively the possibility to add videos to the products.

    People are more likely to buy if there are moving images.

  3. Delivery time per item (on stock/not on stock)

    If an item is not on stock, it is important for us to tell the customer until when it can be delivered near the "not on stock"/"on stock" message.
    In Business Central for example, each item has a 'Lead Time Calculation' and a 'Safety Lead Time'. Both values together plus the standard delivery time will represent the possible delivery time for items not on stock.

  4. Provide separate control of prices, stocks and ordering facilities to guest customers.

    Price Visibility, Stock Visibility (Product presentation), Show unit of measure and special ordering and checkout (ordering) section for guest customers.

    In Sana admin under Setup > Products > Price / Stock and assortment

    In Sana admin under Setup > Ordering & Checkout > Ordering

    Provide separate control of prices, stocks and ordering facilities to guest customers.

    this is important as sometimes our customers need to show products to guest customers but not to guest customers.

  5. Show prices

    If a (b2b) customer is logged in to the shop, he/she should be able to choose, which prices are shown.

    Dealers often have their customers standing beside the desk with the eyes right on the computer. The dealers do not want the customer to see the net prices or discount on the gross prices.

    There could be the following options:
    - Show gross price with discount
    - Show net price
    - Show gross price

    [SANA PRODUCT] Thanks for these comments! In Sana 9.3.0, it’s possible to configure how prices are shown. This applies to the entire web store, and not on customer level. If we understand you correctly, you are looking for a configuration so that the shop account owner itself can change this setting as well, right?

  6. 1 image for different items in NAV - possible or not ?

    Is it yet possible to use 1 image for multiple items of the same type but different dimensions ? Now we need to use 1 image per item (although they look the same) which blows our database out of proportions.

    [SANA PRODUCT] Thanks David, this is an interesting request. Typically most our customers require a different image per item. However, there could be more customers with a similar scenario, I will leave this feature on the feedback channel and monitor the number of votes. Should it be prioritized in the future I will reach out to you and the voter to validate the direction. Thanks for your feedback!

  7. "Child menu items" content element for flexi pages

    The "child menu items" make the presentation of categories/sub-categories very easy; but only for navigation menu items.
    For flexi pages we need to manually create "children" that we want to present under a common topic. This is time consuming.
    It would be very handy and time saving if we could use the "child menu items" in flexi pages.
    1) Create the landing pages of the "children".
    2) Add an image for each "child" like when editing a "Menu item".
    3) Add the "Child menu items" content element in a new "parent"-flexi page.

  8. Download button in logs other than view button

    It will be easy if we have an option to download the log directly without having to view the log from Sana admin. Sometimes as partners or 3rd parties need to access logs, a direct download button would be really helpful.

  9. Recipient e-mail addresses in order confirmation e-mail

    When a B2B customer (person with shop account) makes an online order they receive a confirmation e-mail.

    Unfortunately, the same confirmation e-mail goes to their general company's e-mail address, as well, because in the DynamicsNAV the person (contact) is connected to a company (customer). So, sometimes, we receive e-mails from the company wondering about the purchase; this is true especially for companies with many departments and employees.

    We have tried to create a new shop account using, in the field "Account ID", the "Contact number" (person's number within the company) instead of the "Customer number" (company's number). But still the…

    [SANA PRODUCT] Thank you for this feedback. You are right that order confirmations are also sent to the email address on the customer card (sometimes the general company email address). We investigated this topic further based on customer feedback and decided to skip this email address. It will be removed in the first release after Sana 9.3.4.

  10. Integrate Item Cross Reference numbers with Sana

    Our industrial customers are buying everything from us through their own procurement systems. They have their own Item Numbers for all Items. We have linked the customers Item Numbers with ours Item Numers using Item Cross Reference Entries in NAV. It would be great if this numbers got synced with Sana so our customers can search for they own item numbers and find the items they are looking for. Item Cross Reference numbers should also be visible in the Customer Assortment lists, and customer should be able to tag Item with their own numbers for example in the Check Out…

  11. Allow customers to choose for partial or complete delivery

    Sales orders have a parameter that determines if partial shipment is allowed or not.

    It would be a good idea to allow the (B2B) customer to decide in the checkout page of the webshop for this order if he only wants the shipment to be send when complete or if partial shipment is allowed.

  12. Automatically disable internal (on account) payment method when credit limits are validated with online payment

    Besides the online payment methods, it is also possible to create a payment method linked to the internal (on account) 'payment provider', to enable the customer to pay the order on account.

    When credit limits are validated and enabled with online payment in Sana admin, you only expect the customer to be able to choose the 'real' online payment methods when he/she exceeds the credit limit, as you want him/her to pay online. In the current solution he/she can still select the internal (on account) payment method.

    The internal (on account) payment method should be automatically hidden in this scenario.

  13. Use default language setting D365 in Sana webshop

    When creating a new customer you need to fill in the language of the customer. I would like to forward this setting to the default language setting in the webshop. When German is saved in D365 then the webshop should automatically show the German language and flag in the webshop.

  14. Latest News Add-on

    We want to display the latest posted news in News section on our front page, but now we have to manually update some Flexi Tiles every time we post a new news article.

    Would be great to have a Latest News content element that automatic shows the lastes news.

  15. Copying webstores in SAAS

    We have a customer that have 3 beta webstores and 3 live webstores. They want to have one-to-one settings in their test before it goes to live. Every time they do a change they must do exactly the same settings in live or other webstores (they are on Sana SAAS). It would be nice to have an option (as a user or via Sana) to copy such webstores.

  16. News page flexibility

    - News overview page, with the Headlines on the left column and the News on the right column should be more flexible. For example, we don't need the Headlines column. Also, in order to present images I had to do a "trick" with the short description's code.
    - Each News page should be also more flexible. There should be options for elements to be added such as images, videos etc.
    - The URL of the news page (www.domain.com/news) is not translated to the language selected. This creates a break in the link sequence, as we have the detail…

  18. Allow all Sana Texts to respond to html/css styling

    Frequently we would like to change the size or styling of a system text string, or include a link, etc. Many of these texts do not respond to styling even when input in the editor's code view.

    XML Feed for Google Shopping.

    We would like to have a dynamic XML feed that we can send to google shopping. Each product record should have a field to enable/ disable it on the product feed.

    [SANA PRODUCT] Thank you for sharing this feedback! We have heard this idea more often. For the time being, you could consider using a third-party market place service, such as ChannelEngine or Channeable. They offer all kind of integrations, including data enhancement of the shopping data.

  20. Attributes for slides and background images

    It would very good for SEO and CSS purposes if we could add attributes in slide images and background images; "alt=", "class=", "id=".

    This could make their CSS styling much easier and they could contribute to the SEO of the page.

    The only thing that can be done right now is to use the class of the background image, which is automatically created from its text position (see screenshot); for this example the class is "tile-block-img t-l" (t-l=top left). Although this is a good trick for anyone who knows, it is not the proper way for many reasons.
