  1. Account roles for account type "Contact"

    We sell to B2B only and want to all the shop accounts to have be account type "contact". There are multiple reasons for that, for example statistics and other business processes.

    But if we select "Contact" the possibility to set account role disappears, and this really limits the self service in Sana for our customers. It would be awesome to have account role for contacts as well!

  2. Check in basket on min. order amount

    Customers very often ask us for a B2B shop to make a customisation in the basket to make a check on a minimum order amount. That minimum order amount is set in NAV per customer. So the total of the order amount should be higher then the amount that is set, before they can send the order to NAV. This is to prevent that customers will send multiple small orders in a week, than the handling will cost more than if the customer combine all in one order.

  3. Add option for a Content Delivery Network (CDN)

    This could simply be an option that allows you to set a URL for a CDN in the admin. If a URL for a CDN is configured all URLs for images and other resources like scripts and stylesheets should be modified to point to the CDN. This would speed up the loading times for these resources (especially with large images) and reduce the server load.

  4. Use automatic payment journal posting with multiple payment add-on's

    As a shop owner i would like to be able to use more than one payment add-on in the same webshop, and still be able to use automatic payment journal creation and posting in AX2012 and D365, so all payment mark and settlement will happen automatically in our ERP system.

    Today the account settings for automatic payment journal creation can only be setup for the shop as a whole, which means all payment go on same account. But you need an account per payment provider (add-on) to be able to settle the bank.

  5. Change the number of products per page from the front-end

    Currently a single number of products per page can be set for list and grid pages. It would be nice to be able to set multiple values and let the user choose to show more or less products on a single page. The first value could be the default setting and the other values the ones the user can pick from.

  6. Promo Discounts in SAP

    Promo Discounts on product sets

    Create code with options to assign product set or multiple sets.

    This would be advantageous as some products have lower margins and you ideally don't want to offer discounts on those products. This is the main reason why we don't use discount codes

    This should be a page with a unique URL where a user can check the status of an order but without sensitive information like the address.

  9. Auto create prospect with completed form - new customer

    I would like to add a customer registration form in SANA. Completely filled in forms will automatically create a new prospect in D365 with all required data. The sales manager can convert it easlily to customer. Less work and more efficient.

  10. Unique discount codes

    Possibility to provide guests/B2C customers a unique discount code to buy a specific product(s) with a certain discount/price. This code should only be used one time and then expires.

    Redeem codes as it is implemented in Sana Saas do not answer to this desire and is no watertight solution to offer a discount to a specific group selected persons.

  11. multi-factor authentication/WebAuthn

    more and more prospects are asking about multi-factor authentication (MFA) to protect their ecommerce platforms. locking shipping destinations and managing credit is not cutting it. we're looking at having to interface to an MFA provider, but we're interested to know whether this is something Sana is looking to build into SCC?

    according to this article, the W3C agreed on WebAuthn as the gold standard for frictionless security almost 18 months ago (Mar 2019): https://www.okta.com/blog/2019/03/what-is-webauthn/

    As other main online providers move in this direction, more and more of our prospects want to mirror the same degree of attention to security.

  12. Use another table for related items instead of Item substitution entry

    For now the table Item substitution entry is used to set-up related items. Some of our customers use Item substitutions and therefor we interfere with their business flow when setting up related products for Sana.

    It would make more sense to use a specific table for this

  13. Admin notification when new version of add-on is available

    It would be great if an admin could be notified when a new update is available for add-ons that are enabled in the webstore. These version updates contain bug fixes and enhancements, but the add-on page is typically not monitored frequently by webstore admins.

    For this the Admin notification email address field in the Basics tab (Setup) could be used, which is already in place since Sana 9.3.

  14. Product reviews - Not possible to see customer email address in Sana admin

    When a customer gives a product review, he/she can fill out an email address, but this email address is not shown in Sana admin to the person reviewing the product review.

    It is not possible to contact the customer in case of a negative review, to communicate an extra discount code,...

    Email address should be visible on the review form in Sana Admin so that follow-up actions can be taken.

  15. Register after checkout

    Sana v9.2.0 adds the possibility to check out as a guest. It would be nice if the guest checkout would offer the possibility to register for an account after the order has been submitted. The user should then only be required to supply the information that wasn't already supplied to place the order (e.g. a password). This could also simplify the checkout by reducing the number of options when the user isn't signed in at the time of checkout: sign in to an existing account or continue as guest with the option to register.

    when going through the basket/checkout pages, suggest products related to the basket contents. E.g. a carousel of related items (of type X - e.g. upsell items) for products in the basket

    XML Feed for Google Shopping.

    We would like to have a dynamic XML feed that we can send to google shopping. Each product record should have a field to enable/ disable it on the product feed.

    [SANA PRODUCT] Thank you for sharing this feedback! We have heard this idea more often. For the time being, you could consider using a third-party market place service, such as ChannelEngine or Channeable. They offer all kind of integrations, including data enhancement of the shopping data.

  18. Allow all Sana Texts to respond to html/css styling

    Frequently we would like to change the size or styling of a system text string, or include a link, etc. Many of these texts do not respond to styling even when input in the editor's code view.

  20. Change log for changes made in Sana Admin

    Extend Sana Admin so that any changes made by admin staff are logged in a change log table. A number of times customers have asked if it's possible to see what has changed, and this would also help with troubleshooting any issues that may have arisen due to config changes etc. Also, if changes are made on UAT prior to going Live, the customer to refer back to what has been changed in order to implement the same change on the Live system. Would have thought it should be fairly straight forward to implement.
