Delivery time per item (on stock/not on stock)
If an item is not on stock, it is important for us to tell the customer until when it can be delivered near the "not on stock"/"on stock" message.
In Business Central for example, each item has a 'Lead Time Calculation' and a 'Safety Lead Time'. Both values together plus the standard delivery time will represent the possible delivery time for items not on stock.

I would assume that in Microsoft Dynamics / Business Central, there is also the calculation on Item Availability. This calculates the timeline of a product depending on the purchase orders and sales orders in respect to their defined delivery and receival date.
Another feature which would be useful in this context would be an 'alert me when back in stock'-button. A button the customer can push to receive an automatic email when the item he is looking for comes back in stock.
