  1. Admin notification when new version of add-on is available

    It would be great if an admin could be notified when a new update is available for add-ons that are enabled in the webstore. These version updates contain bug fixes and enhancements, but the add-on page is typically not monitored frequently by webstore admins.

    For this the Admin notification email address field in the Basics tab (Setup) could be used, which is already in place since Sana 9.3.

  2. Use paragraphs in HTML editor

    Normal behavior of most WYSIG editors, also Froala, is this:


    • Enter = New paragraph

    • Shift + Enter = Line Break

    But in Sana Commerce Cloud both gives a Line Break, making content creation much harder. Is it possible to change the behavior of the HTML editor behave like "standard" where ENTER gives new Paragraph?

  3. Webshop categories (front-end) alphabetical in every language

    Webshop categories (front-end) alphabetical in every language. (one store with different languages)

    In de backend you can move your categories form exmple to an alphabetical order (primary language is ENG). On the front-end everething looks perfect when the webshop languge is set on ENG. When you change the webshop language in for example NLD or DE of FR de Alphabetical order for the categories dos not exist anymore.

    Is there an option possible (alphabetical on/off) of you can make this where you can sett this function active or not.

  4. There is no option to mass import Descriptions.

    Where product descriptions exist, there is no option to import a (for example) CSV file with the descriptions. When such descriptions are created Extended Text from Dynamics Nav will not be available in Sana.

  5. Can an option be added through admin to allow selection of a default shipping method.

    The default selection of cheapest is often not the most suitable. Customers see a box checked and continue, adding to post-order telephone calls and customer service time.
    Having an option to set the default would be more suitable

  6. Change log for changes made in Sana Admin

    Extend Sana Admin so that any changes made by admin staff are logged in a change log table. A number of times customers have asked if it's possible to see what has changed, and this would also help with troubleshooting any issues that may have arisen due to config changes etc. Also, if changes are made on UAT prior to going Live, the customer to refer back to what has been changed in order to implement the same change on the Live system. Would have thought it should be fairly straight forward to implement.

  7. free products

    Our sales representatives have a lot of oral agreements with sertain customers. A lot of those involve free products when you buy a sertain amount of a specific product. That is why I like to see a feature in the 'discount codes' section where I can make a 5+1 free offer or a 10+1 on sertain products.

  8. Allow Adding of Meta Images in Standard Sana

    In addition to being able to add meta titles and meta descriptions for each page in Sana Admin it would be very useful and beneficial to be able to add meta images.

    Without being able to add meta images no picture comes up if you share a page on Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, etc. Being able to share links with meta images is extremely important for marketing.

    When I inquired about adding meta images I was told that to that it would be a "customization" which doesn't really make any sense, in the current state of the internet meta images are…

  9. Show prices

    If a (b2b) customer is logged in to the shop, he/she should be able to choose, which prices are shown.

    Dealers often have their customers standing beside the desk with the eyes right on the computer. The dealers do not want the customer to see the net prices or discount on the gross prices.

    There could be the following options:
    - Show gross price with discount
    - Show net price
    - Show gross price

    [SANA PRODUCT] Thanks for these comments! In Sana 9.3.0, it’s possible to configure how prices are shown. This applies to the entire web store, and not on customer level. If we understand you correctly, you are looking for a configuration so that the shop account owner itself can change this setting as well, right?

    All system page URL's in Sana should be editable. The contact-us and basket URL for example are not editable.

    [SANA PRODUCT] Thank you for your feedback. We don’t hear this feedback often actually, so I don’t expect it will be improved in the short term. But it’s good that we have it on our radar now at least. Thank you for sharing your idea!

  11. Copying webstores in SAAS

    We have a customer that have 3 beta webstores and 3 live webstores. They want to have one-to-one settings in their test before it goes to live. Every time they do a change they must do exactly the same settings in live or other webstores (they are on Sana SAAS). It would be nice to have an option (as a user or via Sana) to copy such webstores.

    [SANA PRODUCT] We are aware that the data portability for data in Sana leaves room for improvement. This contains not only data in Sana Admin – such as shop accounts – but also settings and configuration. We are aware of that and prioritize the different data sources based on our customer feedback. We have data portability on our radar, and will work on further improve this in the future.

  12. Allow all Sana Texts to respond to html/css styling

    Frequently we would like to change the size or styling of a system text string, or include a link, etc. Many of these texts do not respond to styling even when input in the editor's code view.

  13. Provide a Microsoft Flow connector into the webshop admin - particularly account admin

    Implement a Microsoft Flow connector for Sana Admin. This could be used for several things but my idea is to use it principally for account managment. Flows can now be triggered directly from inside D365 business apps such as Business Central. Thus when a new Customer account is being set up in Business Central and all is correctly configured, a flow is triggered and the account is set up in Sana Admin without the user having to leave Business Central. Sana now has the ability to automatically send out the "Welcome to the webshop" message and this would be triggered…

    [SANA PRODUCT] Thank you for the idea Nicholas. Could you please add some more concrete ideas of flows that you would like to build?

    If a new customer is created in the ERP, a flow could be triggered based on that event, right? I am curious to what extent this is not sufficient and what you exactly miss.

  15. Download button in logs other than view button

    It will be easy if we have an option to download the log directly without having to view the log from Sana admin. Sometimes as partners or 3rd parties need to access logs, a direct download button would be really helpful.

  17. Unique discount codes

    Possibility to provide guests/B2C customers a unique discount code to buy a specific product(s) with a certain discount/price. This code should only be used one time and then expires.

    Redeem codes as it is implemented in Sana Saas do not answer to this desire and is no watertight solution to offer a discount to a specific group selected persons.

  18. more options for "Availability depends on stock" function

    More options are needed for "Availability depends on stock" function. The option should be added to product sets, product lists and maybe idividual items.
    My Reasoning: I have a bunch of items lying around in my warehouse that I want to get rid of, therefore I would like to list them on the web store.
    The problem is that I also want to dropship a bunch of items that I don’t have in my warehouse.
    Current functionality will have me choose either or of the above. We need more flexibility

  19. Customers needing to order for multiple (bill-to) locations.

    Many of our customers own multiple businesses, restaurants, or chain accounts. They should be able to log in with one email and select the customer number (Customer ID) that they want to order for. Many time sthese are all separate bill-to's. Right now we can have one email associated to one customer account (or ship-to group). We have chef's at commissaries ordering for six locations (different customer id's) and i have to have them setup six gmail accounts to access.

  20. Extend Sana Admin search functionality to include Sana Help (and Sana University) articles

    Extend Sana Admin search functionality to include articles from Sana Help and Sana University in search suggestions regarding current Sana setup.

    For example when customer search for "Discount" top suggestions should be link(s) for "Discount" in Sana Admin and at the bottom should be suggestions with link(s) to Sana Help or Sana University with respect of current Sana setup.
    So, if customer has configured NAV ERP connection, customer do not need link(s) to Help Sana with AX, GP, SAP articles, but only NAV.

    This will dramatically improve Sana Admin user experience.

    [SANA PRODUCT] This is a very good idea. We are currently investigating an improved version of our Sana Help (we call this project Community 2.0). As part of this project, the entire Sana Help functionality will be improved. Step 2 will be a smart integration with our Sana Admin panel to improve our customer experience for daily operations.
