  1. Add order list capability (personalized product list)

    Our customers would really be helped with an order list (personalized and customizable product list) functionality, in which the can manually store items they order frequently and from which they can send in their orders.

    The order templates don't work for this purpose, because our customers do not place the exact same order multiple times, so it's a hassle to have to delete all unwanted products. They buy a certain assortment of products from us, but their weekly order changes based on their sales (sometimes only 3 products out of an assortment of 100).

  2. Add the ability for customers to filter/sort/search in their suggested product page.

    This is a feature our customers (B2B) are asking for a lot. It would help them to re-buy previously bought products. Order lists don't work because their orders are not exactly the same each time.

  3. Customers are viewing all orders in their account, even not their own

    Users (contact persons) can view, in their account after login, orders made by other users, which are linked to the same company.

    This creates confusion the least and maybe in some cases violation of purchasing information. This is worse for big companies and public sector with dozens of employees having an account on our webshop.

    When we create a new user in Sanastore, we create them with "Account type" = "Contact" and not "Customer". This way they are the only ones receiving the invoice of their purchase, and not the company they are linked to.

  4. Notification when a customer registers a new account ('BCC' e-mail addresses)

    It would be very useful to get notified when a new customer registers an account on the webshop. Currently it's possible to get BCC emails when a customer places an order or a quote. This should also apply for customer registration.

    Hi,

    I would like to have a specific homepage for authenticated users (i.e. B2B Users).

    After the login, users should be redirected to the new homepage whenever they are supposed to be redirected to standard home page.

    In particular, users should be redirected to that page after login from standard homepage (B2C).

    Specific homepages could also be defined for customer or salesperson, thouhg this could partially be achieved with segments.

  6. CXML and OCI web catalogue capabilities

    Out of the box CXML and OCI web catalogue capabilities would be great for your B2B clients who work with large organisations. Many large organisations want suppliers who can offer web catalogues that integrate/operate as part of their existing ERP/procurement systems allowing the end customer to leverage their own business/approval logic, while still having the web catalogue shopping experience.

  8. Selecting a variant using an URL Parameter

    Selecting a product variant using an URL Parameter would be a good way for promoting specific variants by Google Shopping for example.

    Workarounds using Javascript won't help, since Google Shopping won't see the variant specific item information (stock, price...)

  9. Don't preselect a variant on a product page

    Current problem: A customer gets onto a product page with a preselected item variant. This specific variant is not on stock, this is why the message "not on stock" appears, even if other variants are on stock. The customer may leave without any further interaction.

    Solution: Customer has to switch to his favorite variant and the item displays "in stock" if there is at least one variant in stock.

    We do use 9.3 and i don't know if this behaviour might be changed already.

  10. multi-factor authentication/WebAuthn

    more and more prospects are asking about multi-factor authentication (MFA) to protect their ecommerce platforms. locking shipping destinations and managing credit is not cutting it. we're looking at having to interface to an MFA provider, but we're interested to know whether this is something Sana is looking to build into SCC?

    according to this article, the W3C agreed on WebAuthn as the gold standard for frictionless security almost 18 months ago (Mar 2019): https://www.okta.com/blog/2019/03/what-is-webauthn/

  11. Special (non-latin) alphabet letters in URLs

    There is a bug with the special alphabet letters, ONLY for Product Detail Pages.

    When viewing a product in Danish or Swedish language, which has special (non-latin) alphabet letters in the URL, and then switch language (from Danish to Swedish or the other way around) the new page is a 500 server error page!
    This is a big drawback, as some of our customers (that convert) change the language of their landing page. I can see that in Google Analytics reports; Acquisition -> All traffic -> Channels -> Referral

    We get a lot of requests that come down to: “can we have the ability for new Shipping Addresses to be saved to NAV and an Address Book in My Account when they’re created in the checkout process?”.

    In practice there are a number of interconnected requests, like wanting to save/edit a contact number and delivery instructions for an existing address and copy them to the basket, wanting customers to be able to order to an address created online when placing a telephone order, and wanting B2C customers to have typical address book functionality; but they all basically come down…

  13. Extended interval time for automatically log out

    We like the security measures Sana takes to reassure the clients safety on the webstores end. But right now it is too fast that the webstore automatically logsout while clients are busy in the webstore. going idle for just a few minutes means that you're automatically log out.

    I would really like to see that interval time to be extended when people will be logged out automatically or that there will be a feature on the admins end where you can adjust that time yourself.

  15. Show Inner Qty near/below Price

    For each UOM, Sana should display the actual quantity for each unit. For example, if customers are ordering an inner qty, they should know how many units are in one inner. This information should be shown directly below the item description or beneath the price. Right now, we have to add this information to the Product Specifications section that is not so readily apparent.

  16. Product reviews - Not possible to see customer email address in Sana admin

    When a customer gives a product review, he/she can fill out an email address, but this email address is not shown in Sana admin to the person reviewing the product review.

    It is not possible to contact the customer in case of a negative review, to communicate an extra discount code,...

    Email address should be visible on the review form in Sana Admin so that follow-up actions can be taken.

  17. PreOrder in addition to InStock and OutOfStock

    If Items are OutOfStock but orderable, they should be considered as PreOrder and not as OutOfStock, since Google removes ads in Google Shopping if the Item is marked as OutOfStock.

  18. Show Stock From Multiple Warehouses and also allow ordering from different warehouses

    In standard Sana, there are only two configurations possible for how stock can be retrieved.
    1. One single warehouse for the whole shop
    2. Stock retrieved from the default location recorded against the customer record in ERP

    However, it would be nicer if we had the below features.


    1. Allow the web shop owner to choose whether he wants to display stocks for the same product in different warehouses.

    2. Allow the ERP admin to choose which warehouses he wants to use for the web shop (visible in web shop type of functionality).

    3. Allow a configuration whether to show a consolidated total…

    [SANA PRODUCT] This is a great idea, and definitely on our radar. The challenge here is that it differs from ERP to ERP how we deal with these scenarios. We have customized this feature a couple of times, and might productize it at some point, but most likely not in the upcoming months due to other priorities.

    [SANA PRODUCT] This is known feedback indeed, and we know that adding more flexibility for configuring the Product Sets is desired. Although this is not our highest priority for now, it’s good to have this on our radar. Thank you for sharing your feedback!
