  1. Add order list capability (personalized product list)

    Our customers would really be helped with an order list (personalized and customizable product list) functionality, in which the can manually store items they order frequently and from which they can send in their orders.

    The order templates don't work for this purpose, because our customers do not place the exact same order multiple times, so it's a hassle to have to delete all unwanted products. They buy a certain assortment of products from us, but their weekly order changes based on their sales (sometimes only 3 products out of an assortment of 100).

  2. Add the ability for customers to filter/sort/search in their suggested product page.

    This is a feature our customers (B2B) are asking for a lot. It would help them to re-buy previously bought products. Order lists don't work because their orders are not exactly the same each time.

  3. Inbound PO date to show when next stock of an item is due

    It would be great to see the next availability of a product in Sana, for instance I have no stock of Item A, but new stock of item A is due to arrive on 20th November

  4. Admin notification when new version of add-on is available

    It would be great if an admin could be notified when a new update is available for add-ons that are enabled in the webstore. These version updates contain bug fixes and enhancements, but the add-on page is typically not monitored frequently by webstore admins.

    For this the Admin notification email address field in the Basics tab (Setup) could be used, which is already in place since Sana 9.3.

  5. Item short and long descriptions

    Showing same info in two different places is not visually or technically useful, it is rather confusing.

    It should be quick fix to either use ERP description only for "short description" and add "long description" in Sana or take use of Business Central "Description2" field for longer description.

    Issue is that in current situation its not possible to add bullet list, tables or other formats to display or format description section as it will be shown also as "short" description.

    Simple fix but big impact for e-commerce customer.

  6. Using (meta) Descriptions instead of Specifications in Product List view

    When using many specifications like we have, the Product pages List view is cluttered with specs like '4 MPa| No| No| No| Yes | Yes| No| No| No | 3822534267195| ' etc. See attached screenshot. This does not give any information about the products and looks messy. It would be better if replaced by a part of the description or meta description.

  7. Ending Description 'preview' text with '...' instead of mid-sentence/mid-word

    In Product Detail pages, the first part of the description at the upper right part of the page is always a fixed number of characters and often ends halfway of a word. HTLM tags like BR and P are ignored, and so are headings, so the text is poorly readable as everything is lumped together as one text).

    It would be good to at least end this text with '...', or with 'read more' (which is now placed below the text), or even being manually editable as option.

  8. Postcode check

    It would be nice to have a postcode check like many other websites have. When you fill in the postcode and number, the streetname is automatically filled.

  9. Customers are viewing all orders in their account, even not their own

    Users (contact persons) can view, in their account after login, orders made by other users, which are linked to the same company.

    This creates confusion the least and maybe in some cases violation of purchasing information. This is worse for big companies and public sector with dozens of employees having an account on our webshop.

    When we create a new user in Sanastore, we create them with "Account type" = "Contact" and not "Customer". This way they are the only ones receiving the invoice of their purchase, and not the company they are linked to.

  10. Use paragraphs in HTML editor

    Normal behavior of most WYSIG editors, also Froala, is this:


    • Enter = New paragraph

    • Shift + Enter = Line Break

    But in Sana Commerce Cloud both gives a Line Break, making content creation much harder. Is it possible to change the behavior of the HTML editor behave like "standard" where ENTER gives new Paragraph?

  11. Guest customers under one ERP account!

    Today every guest customer is saved as separate account in ERP and this generates thousands of accounts never being used again - pretty busy.

    Instead i propose that for guest customers one account e.g. "Guest Customer" is used and every customer is saved as new contact under this account.

    This avoids creating unnecessary accounts in ERP which is pretty critical issue.

    If only obstacle is returning guest customer with same e-mail then rules are simple - it creates new contact every time or option is to push order to already existing contact if all fields are filled identically. In any…

  12. Ability to sort Outst. Total by ascending/decending in customers invoice history.

    Sometimes a customer does not know their order/document no and wants to find out what invoices still have an oust. total. The only way to do this currently is to click through pages of orders.

    If a customer could sort the oust. total by ascending/descending, it would populate all invoices with an outstanding total to the top and the customer could easily find the outstanding total invoices.

  13. Shortening the URL of visible Categories in Product list pages

    When using product Categories as filter in Product list pages, the whole URL (including parent categories) is visible instead of just the categories themselves. When having nested categories, this means the URL is too long to actually show the category at the end (see screenshot).

  15. Notification when a customer registers a new account ('BCC' e-mail addresses)

    It would be very useful to get notified when a new customer registers an account on the webshop. Currently it's possible to get BCC emails when a customer places an order or a quote. This should also apply for customer registration.

  17. Exclude unpaid Sales Orders from demand / reservations and filter for unpaid SO's

    A customer has raised the issue today of unpaid Sales Orders being created in the system. B2C customer can get as far as the card payment screen, close the browser (or cancel the order). However because the Sales Order is created at the point of getting to the payment screen, the users processing the orders may not always be checking the order is paid and so goods are sent out for unpaid / uncompleted orders.

    Our proposed solution is:


    1. a new filter showing the list of unpaid orders on the Sales Order page, also visible as a column

  19. Customer Assortment functionality for Guest Checkout or New customers

    One of our customers is looking into preventing certain products being available to buy from customers in the EU. This would normally be achieved by Customer Assortment. However this only works if the customer has registered and is logged into the site.

    They have a Guest Checkout functionality. Along with new or not logged in customers, can the Customer Assortment take this into account - if not, can that be a future enhancement to the system?

    Out of the box CXML and OCI web catalogue capabilities would be great for your B2B clients who work with large organisations.
