  1. Allow Separate Jobs for Update/Rebuild indexes for Customers & Products

    Provide functionality that allows separate schedules for updating the customer & product indexes vs fully rebuilding them. It would be nice to have the indexes update several times/day and then have a separately scheduled task to rebuild nightly.

    It would be nice if you can see in the admin how much shopaccounts are logged in the shop en and how much users are visiting the webshop realtime. This is interesting information for the maintainance of the shop.

  3. Assign the same item description to multiple products

    It would be nice to be able to assign item descriptions to multiple items at once.

  5. Credit control area

    To calculate balances / credit info, it seems SANA relies ONLY on credit control area as maintained in the customer master (KNVV). In standard SAP this field is not mandatory, if you don't maintain it SAP uses the credit control area as per the company code. When a company has no need to differentiate credit control area's under 1 company code for different sales organizations then maintaining on customer master is not needed. Maintaining that only for SANA need is additional master data maintenance.

  7. Product Hierarchy

    Make it possible to make use of basic hierarchy (MARA) instead of only on sales hierarchy (MVKE). SOme organizations have no need to use the sales org2 view hierarchy, so it would be additional master data maintenance to enter that only for SANA use.

    STORE LOCATOR ADD-ON - When a shop owner matches the pinpoints on the map of the Sana store locator with the exact locations of the stores as known by Google, he expects by clicking in Sana 'View in Google Maps' for a specific location, the Google maps to open on the exact location as known by Google (with all the additional information, address, opening hours, website,...). But instead a Google Maps is opened with only the reference to the coordinates (latitude & longitude) and no additional information.

  9. Edit sales agreements orders

    As a shop owner i would like to use the Sales agreement functionality in the webshop as well, because all of our B2B customers only buy on Sales agreements from our ERP (AX2012/D365).

    But if we turn sales agreement functionality on in the webshop our customers are not able to edit the order.

    And we have to deal with alot of orders changes manually, after order creation, and that is very time consuming for our order processing office and the customer.

    Please change so you can also edit orders with sales agreement connection.

    Product reviews - Possibility to configure in Sana admin whether it is mandatory for a review to have a title and description or whether a customer can just give stars to rate the product (which lowers the barrier to give reviews).

    Social Media plugins.

    Right now we can add a Facebook plugin via HTML injections.
    And following as code in Text Block.

    But in this way we can't place the window wherever we like. It is a fixed place..
    Another issue on the Instagram plugin, if we try to do it via HTML injections and again in a text block, the Instagram feed appears above the header of below the footer.

    Is this a problem that has reached you guys yet?
    Currently working in Sana 9.2, we're looking for an update to 9.3 but not sure whether that problem will be…

  12. Display Shipping Options in Drop-Down Menu or Matrix format

    Allow us to choose to display shipping options in a different format that will be more compact for customers when a shop has many shipping options. Either a drop-down menu, or an accordion-style display where the customer selects which carrier they want to use and then the service levels (standard, expedited, overnight) are displayed. Would make it much easier to show many options without making the checkout page overwhelming.

  13. Set default country in Customer Registration

    On customer registration pages, the country list is in alphabetical order. Most customers are from our home country but this is near the bottom of a long list. It would be great to be able to set a default country and have that appear at the top of the list (or selected and the dropdown be at that point)

  14. Add Unit of Measure form item attribute to specifications

    On the item attribute card it is possible to add an "Unit of Measure".

    When i sync the attributes to Sana the unit of measure is missing in the specifications table.

    Example: i add a attribute "Max loading weight" with a value of 500 end the Unit of Measure is Kg, i only see the description with the value 500, but the "Kg" is missing

  15. Extend functionality ZIP code

    You can configure in NAV when a customer filled in a incorrect ZIP code during online customer registration, that a error will be shown on the webshop

    It would be nice when a customer fills in his ZIP code and housnumber, that automatically the street and place will be filled in.

  16. Managing several contact forms

    Currently SANA does provide only one contact form and its URL is preset. It would be nice to be able to manage several contact forms whereas people want to contact your customer service or a given service within the company. You could also add/remove fields to get more information about the sender before contacting him back and route the message to a different recipient.
    You don't have either an history of the message transmitted, in order to check the relevance of your contact form.

    [SANA PRODUCT] We are currently working on re-building our front-end based on the newest technology (React). You can find more information on this on our Roadmap Portal (https://roadmap.sana-commerce.com). We might introduce a new feature like this in our new front-end, but this is still uncertain.

    For the time being, you could consider using the Code Content Element and embed a form from Google Forms / TypeForm. This will already provide a good solution for most cases.

  17. Product fields Lenght, width, height in class SC_AXDataServiceClient_Product

    Product request contains fixed sana fields Lenght, depth, width that in class SC_AXDataServiceClient_Product initItemFields is linked to GrossDepth, GrossWidth and GrossHeight. But since AX also contains standard fields InventTable.Lenght, Depth and Width these fields cannot be requested. Suggestion/advice of Sana Consultant is to change the field name in Dynamics but this is not in line with the Microsoft Evergreen policy for Dynamics365FO. Please be aware of this.

    As a customer i would like to filter (with facets) products based upon price ranges, from price X till price Y.

    [SANA PRODUCT] We have this feature on our radar, but it’s still a difficult topic to tackle. The reason for that is that pricing is in most cases customer specific (the way how we get them from the ERP at least). Those prices are in Sana always loaded real-time. If you want to use them for a slider, they have to be indexed for performance reasons (which means that they cannot be real-time). We have implemented this approach a few times as a customization with some limitations, but it’s a tough cookie to crack if we want to build this into the standard product. We will continue our investigation on this topic.

  20. GLS integration

    GLS is a very popular shipping provider in the Nordic contries and they offer very affordable delivery in all of Europe.

    GLS is espeacially popular for B2C costumers as they are cheap and can deliver to parcelshops.

    An integration with GLS and their parcelshop system would be a big step towards a more B2C friendly platform.

    [SANA PRODUCT] Thanks for this feedback. At this moment, we are developing standard integrations with both Consignor and Transsmart. These shipping providers supports both standard delivery and pick-up locations – also GLS. This gives our customers the flexibility in changing and adding shipping providers in Sana, without touching any APIs. And with offering more delivery options, shop visitors will have the freedom to select the fastest, cheapest or their preferred carrier.
