  1. Integrate Item Cross Reference numbers with Sana

    Our industrial customers are buying everything from us through their own procurement systems. They have their own Item Numbers for all Items. We have linked the customers Item Numbers with ours Item Numers using Item Cross Reference Entries in NAV. It would be great if this numbers got synced with Sana so our customers can search for they own item numbers and find the items they are looking for. Item Cross Reference numbers should also be visible in the Customer Assortment lists, and customer should be able to tag Item with their own numbers for example in the Check Out…

  2. google shopping xml feed

    XML Feed for Google Shopping.

    We would like to have a dynamic XML feed that we can send to google shopping. Each product record should have a field to enable/ disable it on the product feed.

    [SANA PRODUCT] Thank you for sharing this feedback! We have heard this idea more often. For the time being, you could consider using a third-party market place service, such as ChannelEngine or Channeable. They offer all kind of integrations, including data enhancement of the shopping data.

  3. Use default language setting D365 in Sana webshop

    When creating a new customer you need to fill in the language of the customer. I would like to forward this setting to the default language setting in the webshop. When German is saved in D365 then the webshop should automatically show the German language and flag in the webshop.

  4. Allow all Sana Texts to respond to html/css styling

    Frequently we would like to change the size or styling of a system text string, or include a link, etc. Many of these texts do not respond to styling even when input in the editor's code view.

  5. FAQ as Content Element

    It would be awesome to create a content element using the same architecture as the FAQ web pages so that common questions could be embedded on other Flexi-Pages, or within PDPs and PLPs.

  6. Provide a Microsoft Flow connector into the webshop admin - particularly account admin

    Implement a Microsoft Flow connector for Sana Admin. This could be used for several things but my idea is to use it principally for account managment. Flows can now be triggered directly from inside D365 business apps such as Business Central. Thus when a new Customer account is being set up in Business Central and all is correctly configured, a flow is triggered and the account is set up in Sana Admin without the user having to leave Business Central. Sana now has the ability to automatically send out the "Welcome to the webshop" message and this would be triggered…

    [SANA PRODUCT] Thank you for the idea Nicholas. Could you please add some more concrete ideas of flows that you would like to build?

    If a new customer is created in the ERP, a flow could be triggered based on that event, right? I am curious to what extent this is not sufficient and what you exactly miss.

  7. Validate ZIP code and country

    The ZIP codes from a city should be validated by the ERP. The transport cost often depends on country but currently, SANA allows any ZIP code and country combination. So I have had B2C scenario's where customers selected the wrong country and payed less transport costs due to this.

    1) Option to set the field zip code in SANA admin as drop down instead of text for customer registration & profile fields.

    2) If this set like this in SANA, customers can only select ZIP codes based on the ZIP code table of the ERP. In this case the list…

    [SANA PRODUCT] We have this feedback on our radar. The challenge here is that we sell Sana globally, and each country has it’s own taxonomy / rules for zip codes and cities. There are multiple third-party companies that are specialized in validating this information. Some of our customers customize Sana and implement this validation there. To what extent can ZIP code validation be done on the ERP side in your experience?

  9. News page flexibility


    • News overview page, with the Headlines on the left column and the News on the right column should be more flexible. For example, we don't need the Headlines column. Also, in order to present images I had to do a "trick" with the short description's code.

    • Each News page should be also more flexible. There should be options for elements to be added such as images, videos etc.

    • The URL of the news page (www.domain.com/news) is not translated to the language selected. This creates a break in the link sequence, as we have the detail pages' URL in…

  10. Download button in logs other than view button

    It will be easy if we have an option to download the log directly without having to view the log from Sana admin. Sometimes as partners or 3rd parties need to access logs, a direct download button would be really helpful.

    The new DIBS Easy interface includes "Invoice" and "Swish" (pay by phone).
    The old interface is only carry creditcard.

    It would be nice to have the login as a pop-up instead of going to a flexi-page / login page. We have a lot of products so when a customer accidentally hovers over the navigation menu the login area is blocked.

  15. Possibility of configuring rules or use ERP logic/calendar for requested delivery date picker during checkout

    It should be possible to configure rules for the date picker of the requested delivery date field during checkout, so that a shop owner can define that delivery in the weekend (eg. on Sunday) or the next day is not possible by default.

    A very nice integration feature would be that the ERP calendar of deliveries for that specific customer is retrieved and only relevant dates are available to be selected. Eg, the customer can only select Tuesdays or Thursdays, if that is the setup on the customer card in ERP.

  16. Check in basket on min. order amount

    Customers very often ask us for a B2B shop to make a customisation in the basket to make a check on a minimum order amount. That minimum order amount is set in NAV per customer. So the total of the order amount should be higher then the amount that is set, before they can send the order to NAV. This is to prevent that customers will send multiple small orders in a week, than the handling will cost more than if the customer combine all in one order.

  17. Possibility to create a case from Sana

    A lot of our customers use case management in AX 2012 or D365 to log customer's claims, as they first want to assess the (sometimes general) question internally before making a return order.

    It would be a nice feature in B2B and enrich Sana's "customer portal capabilities" if Sana would allow to create cases instead of return orders directly. In that way all type of customer's questions (general claims & RMA's) can be logged in a more general way.

    It should be possible to create a case linked to a previous order or invoice or a general case (document-free).

  18. Google analytics E-commerce features

    It would be helpful if there could be a document which explains the use of Google Analytics E-commerce platform. Now there is one for standard Google Analytics and goals, but not for the specific E-commerce features.

    Info that can be given:


    • Use of Google Tag Manager

    • Which variables should be used in the datalayer

    • How to display revenue, conversion percentage for E-commerce, Unique purcheases,...

  19. Delivery costs per item

    o The shop offers no possibilities to add shipping cost per item. Often this is very important (big products or quantities)
    o We would very much need this feature. In the shop we can‘t offer a lot of products, because we have too high shipping costs and these costs cannot be shown in the shop. For this reason, we have written an extension on the Navision part. In Navision, we can use our enhancement to categorize freight costs and automatically calculate and add the correct postage per order using a function.   20. Automatically disable internal (on account) payment method when credit limits are validated with online payment

    Besides the online payment methods, it is also possible to create a payment method linked to the internal (on account) 'payment provider', to enable the customer to pay the order on account.

    When credit limits are validated and enabled with online payment in Sana admin, you only expect the customer to be able to choose the 'real' online payment methods when he/she exceeds the credit limit, as you want him/her to pay online. In the current solution he/she can still select the internal (on account) payment method.

    The internal (on account) payment method should be automatically hidden in this scenario.
