  1. Customers needing to order for multiple (bill-to) locations.

    Many of our customers own multiple businesses, restaurants, or chain accounts. They should be able to log in with one email and select the customer number (Customer ID) that they want to order for. Many time sthese are all separate bill-to's. Right now we can have one email associated to one customer account (or ship-to group). We have chef's at commissaries ordering for six locations (different customer id's) and i have to have them setup six gmail accounts to access.

    Add possibility to add a comment to each shopping basket line item. This is requested a lot and came up again during a training with partners.

  3. Auto create prospect with completed form - new customer

    I would like to add a customer registration form in SANA. Completely filled in forms will automatically create a new prospect in D365 with all required data. The sales manager can convert it easlily to customer. Less work and more efficient.

  4. Add possibility to support URL's as product attachments

    When using the inRiver add-on, it should be possible to add an URL as a product attachment, if the customer eg. wants to link to files stored on the website of the supplier.

    With the current version of the inRiver connector it is not possible to use an URL as a product attachment, in the same way as is currently possible when using Microsoft Dynamics AX for instance.

  5. Language support for attachments

    Currently the inRiver connector does not support languages for product attachments (mapped to the SANAPRODUCTATTACHMENTSRELATIONS setting in inRiver).

    It should work in the same way as with the standard ERP integration or Perfion add-on, that only the attachments are presented in the language the customer has chosen in the webstore.

    [SANA PRODUCT] We looked into this issue, and it seems that we don’t support language specific attachments for our ERPs for product attachments (only for sales document attachments). We indeed support language specific attachments in our PIM systems. The development team will look into this scenario.

  6. Possibility to create a case from Sana

    A lot of our customers use case management in AX 2012 or D365 to log customer's claims, as they first want to assess the (sometimes general) question internally before making a return order.

    It would be a nice feature in B2B and enrich Sana's "customer portal capabilities" if Sana would allow to create cases instead of return orders directly. In that way all type of customer's questions (general claims & RMA's) can be logged in a more general way.

    It should be possible to create a case linked to a previous order or invoice or a general case (document-free).

    [SANA PRODUCT] We are currently rebuilding our front-end and Sana Admin based on ReactJS. This will bring huge performance improvements. Simultaneously, we also have our UX experts reviewing all pages in Sana (both front-end as Sana Admin). The My Account area also deserves improvement, especially the search functionality. We will definitely take this feedback into account when we will redesign this part of Sana. Please stay tuned with our Roadmap Portal (https://roadmap.sana-commerce.com/).

  8. Scan Barcode to Basket

    many customers whishes a functionality where they can order items in a fast way by scanning the barcodes from the items in their warehouse or stores.

    a great feature would be a scanning addon for the webshop.

    [SANA PRODUCT] We are currently working on building a so-called “Front-end API”. For the technical people: we are implementing ReactJS as our new frontend framework. We expect to release this by the end of 2019. Having a frontend API is crucial for our first steps towards a Progressive Web App (PWA). With this PWA, we might also include a barcode scanner.

    Metatags are not auto populated through a field in SAP B1, as manually filling metatags for every product is very time consuming. There should be an option to upload metatags through CSV based on product code. We have also talked to few of other SANA users and they also have same issues.

    [SANA PRODUCT] The meta description fields are auto populated based on the Product Description. It’s also possible to override this auto populating when manually adding a Meta Description under the Advanced Tab while editing a product in Sana Admin. If that’s not working for you properly, please contact your Service Consultant.

    Which fields from SAP B1 would you like to populate as the Meta Description?

  10. Use automatic payment journal posting with multiple payment add-on's

    As a shop owner i would like to be able to use more than one payment add-on in the same webshop, and still be able to use automatic payment journal creation and posting in AX2012 and D365, so all payment mark and settlement will happen automatically in our ERP system.

    Today the account settings for automatic payment journal creation can only be setup for the shop as a whole, which means all payment go on same account. But you need an account per payment provider (add-on) to be able to settle the bank.

    A solution could be to be able…

  11. Extend Sana Admin search functionality to include Sana Help (and Sana University) articles

    Extend Sana Admin search functionality to include articles from Sana Help and Sana University in search suggestions regarding current Sana setup.

    For example when customer search for "Discount" top suggestions should be link(s) for "Discount" in Sana Admin and at the bottom should be suggestions with link(s) to Sana Help or Sana University with respect of current Sana setup.
    So, if customer has configured NAV ERP connection, customer do not need link(s) to Help Sana with AX, GP, SAP articles, but only NAV.

    This will dramatically improve Sana Admin user experience.

    [SANA PRODUCT] This is a very good idea. We are currently investigating an improved version of our Sana Help (we call this project Community 2.0). As part of this project, the entire Sana Help functionality will be improved. Step 2 will be a smart integration with our Sana Admin panel to improve our customer experience for daily operations.   12. Draft page content when session expires

    In Sana 9.3 you introduced login session expiration, so if a Sana Admin is inactive for 20 minutes or more the session will be signed out. One big issue with this is that if you spend 20 minutes or more editing a web page and then save your content you are automatically signed out and the content is lost. This can not be intended and I will category it as a bug, so that you will not be signed out in this scenario.

    Also, sometimes you are editing pages, then for some reason you will be inactive for 20 minutes…

    [SANA PRODUCT] Thank you for the feedback! We are now working on an improved Sana CMS / text editor which we call the “Visual Designer”. We will take this feedback into account when developing it. We expect to release a first (beta) version of this fancy editor by the end of ’19. Stay tuned!

  13. Order of Items in Mix & Match

    It would be nice if the order of items, given bei Business Central in item substitutions, instead of the entry order could be used.

  14. Checkout: Delivery method as an active choice for B2B Customers

    In Sana, the cheepest delivery method in the checkout is checked per default (In our case, Pickup Delivery = Free).

    The delivery method SHOULD BE AN ACTIVE CHOICE for all customers. A default checkmark is not acceptable.

    Why not acceptable?
    In our company, new online customers, which just created a new account, have to pay with credit card the first time they use the webshop. (We added a Credit Max of -1 in the Customer Registration Form)

    The Consequences of this Default-checkmark:
    If the new customer is in the most cases not aware of the (default) Pickup Delivery method (=…

    [SANA PRODUCT] This is a good topic. It’s correct that a “default checkbox” is not there, as you for example can find for payment methods. Something similar would be a good add to the product which we will consider.

    For the time being, you could probably add a customer segment for the shipping method pick-up (e.g. only for customers from a postal code) if the actual group that picks up packages comes from a certain region de facto.

  15. News Editing

    Hi there.

    When making articles in the News (system page) it is unable to add extra content blocks to those pages. This would make the news area a lot more pleasant to go over it or check some articles out. If we could add a product set to it, we can redirect again to our commerce and we could even add the newsletter subscription, so we can have more customers to give a heads up for new products etc. ( Currently working on 9.2 --> possible?)

  16. File Manager

    Don't know whether it is already in the new upgrade, but an Image Preview and a Search Bar in File Manager would shorten the amount of searchtime. Especially when you have to find a productphoto, because the naming for the prodcutpictures is not SEO friendly..

  18. Translations in the shop

    Editing URLs or HTML texts in different languages is very time-consuming. After saving, you are always redirected back to the overview. It should be simplified.

  19. Multiple values per characteristic

    We would like to have multiple values per characteristic. For example; a certain product can be mounted using Glue, Screws and Rivets. In SAP ECC we are able to have multiple values, but Sana only displays 1 value.

    For the maintenance of the customer assortment in NAV, it would be great if you can add an item mark in the assortment. Because the item category and product group are not specific enough and the item no. is to specific, it cost al lot of time if you maintain this on the item no. level. If you use an item mark the maintenance is more flexible.
    It would also be better if the assortment at the customer level can be setup based on the countries/ regions code.
